Would it not be great if scientists could voice their opinions as a group and get public support on important topics. This is the motivation behind what we are doing.

To take just two examples:

We found it astonishing that practically all scientists believe not enough is being done to halt the mass extinction of species, but as a whole are not able to really voice their concerns and influence the public and politicians to take some real measures. So we created www.biodiversity.vision (see the 1st screenshot)

Similarly we found that doctors, economists, epidemiologists and other scientists have better ideas of what should be done to deal with the current pandemic, but are not being successful in influencing the national or global discourse. Therefore we created end-covid-19.org (see the 2nd screenshot) and The Think Tank Foundation; with the aim to give scientists a forum to meet (on location and online), to discuss possible solutions, create communication strategies and with the help of volunteers implement those strategies.
